Here we are ready for a new match and I never got around to writing about the last one. So much has been going on and I still have a job to do that I actually get paid for so I have been a little slow.
Last month we had one of the prettiest weddings I have had the honor to attend and believe me, I have attended quite a few weddings in the past, a few of them my own. (I must admit that Lady Tombstone and my wedding was quite nice too but is was pre-cowboy) Appaloosa Honey and Horse Doc tied the knot with Preacher B Quick performing the ceremony. I think everyone enjoyed the wedding and reception afterwards.
The ORSA elections are over and they did not go the way we were hoping they would. Neither Ranger Z nor Warcat were elected. Maybe we can get them next year.
We had great weather in November for a fantastic match. We got to see some old friends that had been scarce lately. Caliber 45 was back with is new electronic implants. He looked great and was all smiles. He did mention he was going to have to learn to shoot all over again since he was not used to steady hands. Good luck Caliber 45 our hearts and prayers are with you.
We were sorry to hear about the passing of Dustin Clays father and got a double dose of sad news when we learned of the illness of Jim Mayo’s brother. Please let us know if we can do anything for either family.
I am looking forward to the December match followed by a new year. Please remember the reason for the season. Wish everyone you see a Merry Christmas, not a happy holiday.
If you miss the December match please have a safe and Merry Christmas from our household to each of yours.
Long Days and Pleasant Nights
