Our August shoot was HOT!!!.  Fifty hardy cowboys and cowgirls came out in 100 degree weather and had a great match negotiating the stages created by Preacher Red.


Four first time-CAS shooters participated: Dutchy Rodell, Wiley Armadillo, JB Accurate and Ziggy the Kid.  Welcome!  We hope to see ya again soon. 

Festus D. Deputy was the top shooter again.  Widowmaker keeps on moving up and placed second this month (and actually tied with Festus on rank points). The rest of the top ten were Fiddleback, Lightning McCoy, Dustin Clays, Ocoee Red, Grey Duck, Long Gulch, Fast Harley and Last Kiss.  Last Kiss is making a habit of placing in the top ten; she was of course the top lady shooter this month too.

Only one shooter  (Flat Rock Jack) had a clean match in August and only one cowboy had four clean stages. Five shooters had three stages with no misses.
