Our shoot in July was held on the Saturday the 14th, a nice day for shooting. It was quite hot by the end of the day which contributed to a large gathering at Cancun’s after the match.

Three first time-CAS shooters participated: Bob Ragain, Ray DiMaio and Short Cake (Junior Girl). Welcome! We hope to see ya again soon.

Festus D. Deputy and Fiddleback were on top of their game. Festus beat out Fiddleback by only one rank point. Marshall Too Tall placed third. Widowmaker, our top Gunfighter this month was fourth and Preacher B. Quick from Kentucky came in fifth. Dustin Clays placed sixth and Slater, shooting Gunfighter for the first time was 7th. Grey Duck was the top Senior this month and also placed in the top ten (8th). Tenn Critr, our newest Elder Statesman had a great shoot and ended up in 9th place. Last Kiss, shooting Lady Gunfighter rounded out the top ten.

Last Kiss won the ladies shoot-out. The other top ten ladies were Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, Roma Jane, Deadeye Diamond, Feather Dancer, Cookie Lynn, Two Dogs Runin, Short Cake and Triple J.

Clean Stages:

Four shooters had a clean match in July; Festus D. Deputy, Roma Jane, Cumberland Mountain John and Blake the Snake. Eight shooters had four stages with no misses and ten shooters had three clean stages.

Five Stages:

Festus D. Deputy, Roma Jane, Cumberland Mountain John and Blake the Snake.

Four Stages:

Wildcat Wilkey, Deadman, Double Eagle Dave, Dusty Jake, Hombre Sin Nombre, Ranger Z, Owlhoot Hardin and Vinegarroon.

Three Stages:
Fiddleback, Marshall Too Tall, Horseshoe John, Long Gulch, El Carrera, Tennessee Hawk, Tennessee Slim, Burrito Bandito, Bronco Ed and Shenandoah Will .

Two Stages:

Dustin Clays, Tenn Critr, T-Bone Angus, Tennessee Tombstone, Tennessee Hoss, Hallelujah Hawkeye, Copperhead Coot, Ray DiMaio and Groundhog Man.

One Stage:
