October 2008

Fifty one shooters participated in the October match.  The match was in competition with the state match at Wartrace but our turnout nevertheless was good, the weather cooperated and we had another great match at the Oak Ridge Corral.

We had two new shooters;

Jimmy the Kid (who is also kin of Tennessee Mongo) and

White Wolf Dakota (one of our newest club members).

We hope you shoot with us again soon.

The Top Ten:  Widowmaker, shooting gunfighter, was our top gun for the first time; just ahead of Purly (Senior), and Fiddleback (first Traditional).  The rest of the top ten were Slater (second Traditional), Tennessee Mongo (third Traditional), Polecat Carl (first Modern), Keystone (second Gunfighter), T-Bone Angus (first B-Western), Lightning McCoy (first Classic Cowboy) and Grey Duck (first Silver Senior).

Roma Jane (first Ladies 49er) was the top lady gun in October.  The rest of the top ten ladies were Feather Dancer (first Ladies Senior), Dangnabit Deb (second Ladies 49er) and Triple J (first Ladies Traditional).
