September 2008

Sixty seven shooters signed up for the September match.  I expect the hot humid day discouraged some from participating but those who did had access to plenty of cold water and had a great match.

We had one new shooter (Sam Buca, who also signed up as a club member).  We hope you shoot with us again soon and welcome to the club.

I want to take a time-out here to congratulate our Marshal, Last Kiss.  She achieved several firsts in this match; the highest finishing woman (third) in the history of our club, her first clean match and placed first in the very competitive Gunfighter category.  We are all very proud of you Last Kiss!!!

The Top Ten:  SA Pondwater (Modern) again was our top shooter this month, coming in just ahead of Marshal Too Tall (49er).  As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, Last Kiss placed third.  Ocoee Red, also a 49er, came in fourth.  They were followed by Slater (Tradional), Polecat Carl (Modern), T-Bone Angus (B-Western), Fiddleback (Tradional),  Fast Harley (Gunfighter), and Tenn Critr (Elder Statesman).

The top lady this month again was Iron Maiden (Ladies Duelist).  The rest of the top ten ladies were Roma Jane (Ladies 49er), Tequila Liz (Ladies Traditional), Feather Dancer (Ladies Senior), Amorous Ali (Ladies 49er), Short Cake (Ladies Tradional), Pinecone Lily (Ladies Tradional), Cookie Lynn (Ladies Traditional) and Sassy Jen (Buckarette).
