First
let me apologize for this newsletter being so late,
I forgot that I had been out of town for a week and
neglected to send the newsletter in for posting.
Second,
let me thank everyone for pitching in at the June
shoot to make the posse’s run better. I have
not heard of any complaints from the posse leaders
about non-workers.
We
need volunteers to be posse leaders for each shoot,
Last Kiss plans on having the posse leaders assigned
the week before each shoot. As I pointed out at the
pre-shoot meeting in June; the posse leader does not
mean they have to run the clock, the posse leader’s
job is to keep the posse moving. This means they have
to make sure each position is covered and all the
jobs are getting done.
We
will be having a work day this Saturday, the 30th
starting at about 8:30. Please plan on being there
to help out. We need to finish the mower shed and
build some shelves inside our building. We will also
need to mow and weed-eat. If we get everyone to pitch
in we can get done before it gets to hot.
Last
Kiss is holding a RO-I class this Sunday at the indoor
shooting range at ORSA. If you do not have RO-I this
is a great opportunity to take it. This class teaches
you the more basic aspects for CAS, and helps in the
job training for working with a posse. Call Last Kiss
or post a message on the forum if you want to take
this class. The cost is $10 per person.
